Overview

The City of Albuquerque’s Economic Development Department (EDD) prioritizes workforce development as a strategy for economic growth. The EDD creates opportunities targeted at skilling up Albuquerque’s workforce to match local employer demand, advance workers’ careers, and generate higher wages. The EDD also acts as a hub and convener to align the workforce and economic development systems to help build a more dynamic and equitable economy.
